One of the best things about campervan life? Waking up to a different view every morning. Over the years, we’ve pitched up in some pretty incredible places—on clifftops, beside lochs, and just steps from the sand.
Whether you’re chasing sunsets, craving sea views, or just want to open your van doors to something wow, we’ve rounded up our favourite campsites with the kind of views you’ll never forget.
These are the spots we keep going back to, the ones that made us stop and say, “This is exactly why we do this.”
Let’s dive in—bring your brew and your booking app, you’re going to want to save these.
Scotland

Borve Camping and Caravan Site
Barra, Outer Hebrides, Scotland
Set on the South West Coast of Barra next to the sea, this campsite gives you every sunrise and sunset. Donald, the owner, is super friendly, helpful and welcoming and the facilities are modern, clean and taken care of. It’s an awesome first stop if you’re starting your adventure to the outer Hebrides.

Talla na Mara Campsite – West Harris Trust
Harris, Outer Hebrides, Scotland
With views for miles, Talla na Mara is a relatively new campsite comprising only 3 pitches, and attached to the West Harris Trust community shop, arts and entertainment centre. It sits up on the hill so you can get the winds, but the views are well worth the battering!!

Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, Scotland
Set on the tranquil western shore of Loch Lomond, Luss Caravan & Camp Site offers a scenic and family-friendly base for exploring Scotland’s first national park. Just a short stroll from the charming conservation village of Luss, the site features 52 hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups and 45 grass camping pitches, some with loch views. Book a lochside pitch and you won’t be disappointed!
England

Highlands End Campsite – Dorset
Bridport, Dorset, South of England
Highlands End Holiday Park is a standout destination for campers seeking breathtaking views. Perched atop the cliffs of the Jurassic Coast near Bridport, this family-run, 5-star resort offers panoramic vistas over 99 miles of coastline. We went off season and whilst we didn’t get bright sunshine, the mist made it mysterious and fun! Walk down the hill to a gorgeous pebble beach for sundowners (if you get some sun!!).

Croyde, Devon, England
This lovely family-run site has 34 pitches—many with sweeping sea views—creating a laid-back atmosphere perfect for surfers, walkers, and beach lovers alike. With direct access to the South West Coast Path and a two-minute stroll to the beach, it’s an ideal base for coastal adventures. The pitches are quite small but when you have such close access to the beach and coastal paths you find you don’t need that much space. The on site food van, Biffens Kitchen, provides delicious meals each day. Please note the site follows beach rules and doesn’t allow dogs.

St Austell, South Cornwall
Treveague Campsite is a peaceful, dog-friendly spot tucked away on Cornwall’s south coast, just a short walk from three stunning beaches. It’s the perfect base for exploring the Roseland Peninsula, with plenty of coastal walks right from your pitch. The site itself has a relaxed, back-to-nature vibe, with spacious pitches, sea views, and a friendly welcome. Whether you’re after a quiet retreat or a family adventure, Treveague balances the charm of wild camping with great facilities like hot showers, a little café, and a farm shop brimming with local produce.

Just a short walk leads you down to the famous Three Cliffs beach, where golden sands meet dramatic limestone cliffs and rolling dunes. The site is dog-friendly and laid-back, with good facilities, a small shop, food trucks and plenty of space to unwind. Whether you’re heading out on the coastal path or simply soaking up the view, Three Cliffs Bay strikes the perfect balance between wild beauty and a welcoming base for your stay.
